Warranty Policy

WARRANTY POLICY
1. This warranty policy is applicable to ‘Kumho’ brand new passenger car tires manufactured by Kumho tires for all patterns apart from KL12.
2. This warranty is valid for original purchaser of the tires only and cannot be transferred to any party.
3. This warranty is only applicable in India.
4. Warranty of replacement till 50% Tread wear or 2 years from the date of manufacture, whichever is early is offered on damage caused due to road hazards. At the end of the relevant periods stated above, all warranties, express or implied are terminated.
5. Exposure of Tread wear indicators means the original Tread worn out to the level of Tread Wear Indicators i.e. at a remaining Tread depth of 1.6 mm.
6. In assessing the damage, the final decision after investigation shall be made by authorized representative of Kumho tires.
7. Claim will be attended only when presented along with the duly completed warranty card in original with dealer seal and signature.
8. Liability of Kumho tire is limited to the costs of the tire based on the remaining Tread depth.
9. All claims shall be lodged with the authorized dealer of Kumho tires from whom tires are purchased.
10. Kumho tires accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to tires which are in the custody or control of an authorized dealer for inspection.
11. All rejected claim tires if not collected within twenty-one days of intimation of rejection to customer will be disposed off due to limited storage space. In such cases, neither Kumho tires nor its authorized dealer will be liable to the customer for any loss due to such disposal.
12. Warranty card will not be reissued.
13. All applicable taxes on the new tire, service charges incurred and cost of mounting and balancing service shall be borne by the customer.
14. All obligation or liabilities for incidental or consequential loss/damage are hereby excluded, including but not limited to loss of use of vehicle, loss of time, loss or damage caused to any person or property by or arising out of the use of the tires.
15. Kumho tires does not offer warranty on claim of any one of the following categories: a) Tires of which Tread wear indicators (1.6 mm height) are exposed.
b) Tires which have been repaired or re-capped.
c) Improper application of tire size and/or specification.
d) Tires damaged due to vehicle mechanical irregularities or vehicle accident.
e) Tires that have been fitted in any vehicle other than the vehicle on which they were originally installed. f) Damage from misalignment, wheel imbalance, defective brakes or shock absorbers, Improper inflation, overloading, improper mounting or demounting, oil or chemical action, fire, use for racing, tire alteration, tampering (e.g. tampered serial number, size of tire, ply rating, etc.), running flat or willful damage or abuse. g) Tires purchased from unauthorized sellers.
h) Illegally imported tires.
16. Kumho tire is not liable for any statement, representation, commitment, promise or agreement made by its dealers, employees, representative or OEMs that in any way varies with the terms of this warranty. 17. Kumho tires reserves the right to cancel, change part and/or the entire warranty policy without notice in advance.
REMARKS: Tire will be replaced after charging minimum 50% of the tire price. KUMHO TIRE
